Listing standards
Every product on Gulu Mulu must have:
- A truthful title — no keyword stuffing, no rival brand names, no ALL CAPS.
- At least two real photographs of the actual product on a clean background. Stock photos taken from a brand's website are only allowed for genuine branded goods you actually stock.
- An honest description, including fabric or ingredients, and a size chart for anything wearable.
- A price in whole Taka, VAT included. A strike-through price must be a price the item was genuinely sold at.
Prohibited items
The following may never be listed:
- Counterfeit or replica branded goods ("master copy", "7A quality", and similar)
- Prescription medicines, supplements making medical claims, and unregistered cosmetics
- Weapons, ammunition, explosives and their imitations
- Tobacco, alcohol, and any controlled substance
- Live animals, wildlife products, ivory and other protected materials
- Stolen goods, or any item you do not have the legal right to sell
- Adult content, and anything that breaches Bangladeshi law
Cosmetics and skincare
Beauty listings must state the batch code and expiry date, and imported stock must be backed by a valid import invoice on request. Products with less than 6 months of remaining shelf life may not be listed at full price.
Review and enforcement
New listings enter a Pending queue and are checked by our catalogue team, usually within 24 hours. Listings can be rejected for poor photos, a misleading title, or a missing size chart — you will be told exactly why and can resubmit.
Selling a counterfeit is not a first-warning offence. The listing is removed, the shop is suspended, and any pending payout on that product is withheld.
